Sludge Removal System

Delta 'Aqua-Cleanse' sludge removal system is the most efficient, low-maintenance system currently on the market.

The 'Aqua-Cleanse system takes 100% of the paint laden water from the 'Aqua-Flow' spray booth and with very careful chemical additions is able to float the sludge to the surface for automatic removal.

The clean water from the 'Aqua-Cleanse' tank has a polymer agent injected into the water process pipe work prior to the 'Aqua-Flow' spray booth to detackify the over spray paint particles. As the paint laden water is transfered back to the 'Aqua-Cleanse' tank a Flocculating agent is introduced to promote the flotation process. The floating paint forms a raft on the surface of the water, which is then automatically removed to a sludge collection container.

The process (dwell) timing designed into the system, is critical to the type of material being sprayed and is suitable for both water and solvent based products.

This unique process allows the water to be re-cycled on a continuous basis, lessening the impact on the environment and reducing costs. Drain down of the system being typically once every six months.

The 'Aqua-Cleanse' system can be adapted to operate with existing spray booth systems subject to their design characteristics.
