
‘The Sloane Group’ has recently placed orders
with ‘Delta’ for its fourth and fifth process plants.
The first plant, purchased from ‘Delta’ in 1988, is
still working on a multi-shift basis today. Over the years ‘The
Sloane Group’ has expanded its business and by working very
closely with ‘Delta’, both companies have achieved a
complete understanding of each others’ requirements. As a
result ‘The Sloane Group’ has derived maximum benefit
from the latest technology. The two new plants include pre-treatment
plant, dry-off ovens, powder systems and cure ovens fully integrated
via transport systems.

'LG
Electronics' is acknowledged as a market leader in the production
of flat display screens. After experiencing paint quality and supply
problems the manufacturer of their screens, 'YU SUNG (UK) LTD',
situated on the 'LG' site in Newport, decided to take the painting
process in-house. The first plant proved so successful, that two
further plants were ordered within ten months of the first one
becoming operational.

In conjunction with the main project contractors, ‘Delta’
has provided a wet paint system for ‘Airbus’
at Filton to process aircraft wing components. The plant consists
of various clean rooms, mask and demask enclosures, spray booths
with Aqua-Cleanse plus flash-off and oven enclosures. ‘Delta’s’
supply included 3D concept and layout drawings, detailed design,
supply, installation and commissioning.

Via the main contractor, Haden Drysys, Delta provided drying systems
and an air replacement unit for the new Aston Martin Lagonda plant
at Gaydon in Warwickshire.

2 years ago ‘Rotadex’ in Birmingham decided to
take their powder coating requirements in-house. After a lengthy
selection process ‘Rotadex’ chose to work with ‘Delta’.
The resulting plant consists of spray pre-treatment plant, powder
coating facilities, ovens and conveyors and was in full production
by the agreed date.

Long term partner ‘J.C. Bamford Excavators Ltd’
and ‘Delta’ have worked together on many projects. In
particular a powder coating plant installed by ‘Delta’
is reputed to be the most efficient paint plant in the ‘JCB’
group (running cost, up-time reliability etc). This plant is included
on the ‘JCB’ visitor tour.

The leading manufacturer of high quality GRP roof sheeting and
cladding, Filon Products Ltd , has installed two lines of
Delta multi-zone ovens, purpose designed for GRP curing operations
at Filon's new factory in Burntwood. The conveyorised ovens operate
at speed of up to 10m/min and maintain precise temperatures to
ensure even curing.

Two special ovens, together with precision-built component transport
and handling systems, have been supplied by Delta to Sharp for
the company's new solar panel production facility in Wrexham. The
ovens are used for the highly accurate curing of the bonding resins
within each solar panel to a specified percentage.
